Tea Method is a new boba tea spot in Simsbury. I was excited and had it bookmarked because I love boba tea and mochi donuts. The space was cute and cozy; there were a couple of tables and tall stools for seats. The people working there were friendly. They have a decent sized parking lot in the back. I love places with parking lots.
Aside from boba tea and mochi donuts, they have slushies, fruit teas, and lattes (with a twist). The prices of the mochi donuts was cheaper than the closest mochi donut place I've been to, which is in West Hartford. The prices for the boba tea is also cheaper than the closest boba tea spot I've been to, which is in Avon. Prior to going, I couldn't find online anywhere how much their mochi donuts were; once I was in the shop, there's a menu stating that it is $3.75 for one and $20 for half a dozen.
I had the brown sugar boba milk tea and it was pretty good. I purchased two mochi donuts, one was caramel churro and the other was s'mores. Those were very delicious; lightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. My husband said that the s'mores mochi donuts was the best he's had. I absolutely love the texture of these donuts. Overall, I'm glad there is one even closer to me now. I wish them much success and can't wait to go back and try more menu items!
Our weekly routine to get bubble tea🧋 and half dozen donuts from here. Their donuts taste amazing! You must try, made from rice flour and get a bouncy texture and feel. Not too sweet plus easier and more gentle to stomach compare to other regular donuts 🍩. Their milk tea uses real milk which is also a higher quality for these fun drink options compare to the powdered milk ones. We love the shop atmosphere and the owner and workers friendly, kind energy.
Loved it! Gluten free donuts! Awesome. I also had the matcha latte. Excellent.
I just tried their coffee mochi donut and Rose milk tea with boba and herb jelly! They were both yummy and what I needed after a long day of work! I'm definitely coming back not only for the treats, but to also have more lovely conversations with the owner. She was so nice and amazing to talk with! Thank you for opening a lil lovely place in Simsbury! ^-^
We came late in the evening because we wanted dessert. The lychee fruit tea with mango jellies tasted delicious My son enjoyed his milk tea. My daughter and her husband enjoyed their passion fruit tea and frozen fruit slushie. We enjoyed the customization of the desired drinks. The half dozen mochi donuts with their drizzled icing of flavors in pistachio, maple, blueberry cheese cake and strawberry were fresh. We liked the slight chewiness to them. We devoured the tasty mochi donuts. This a great place for an evening dessert or day time treats. The owner is very friendly and provided nice service. We enjoyed the teas, mochi donuts and our time here!
The mochi donuts are light, chewy, and delicious. The classic milk tea boba has a robust flavor and isn't overly sweet. Also the interior is cute and bright. We will definitely be back!
This place is amazing! Don't be like me and sleep on it.

All teas are served cold/iced. Didn't realize this when I ordered a brewed Earl Grey with honey but that's on me. It's very tasty and refreshing. First time trying mochi donuts, the kids and I liked them. They remind us of fried dough but with flavored icing on top. Does $20 for 6 donuts seem expensive? Regardless I'm giving five stars anyway because I like this place, it's a nice treat, and I hope they do well.
